London Store Manager

We are currently looking for a maternity cover for our Store Manager for our boutique based in London. It is a 9 months contract position where you will contribute to the growth of Sandqvist.

ABOUT THE ROLE - Key Responsibilities

A Sandqvist Store Manager is the first Ambassador of the company, in charge of welcoming every guest into the Sandqvist family.

Business & Service :

  • A Sandqvist Store Manager is a customer experience champion
  • Leads the team to initiate and develop long-term relationships with visitors
  • Coordinates and supervises aftersales service
  • Proactively proposes activities or events to drive client expectations above and beyond
  • Own a multichannel vision of the business, understand needs, and support other channels
  • Leads by example and supervises sales on the floor to improve business performance and customer service
  • Ensures full engagement of the team with different services of the HQ
  • Creates monthly/quarterly/yearly action plan to improve business in line with the brand strategy and adjusts based on performance analysis and report
  • Sets up and monitors retail targets for boutique and per styles
  • Actively participates in commercial activities and proactively proposes new ideas to improve business
  • Aware of the local Market environment and competitors’ activities.

Management & Logistics :

  • A Team leader
  • Organizes dynamic team briefings and stimulates a positive working environment
  • Performs individual yearly performance assessment with all team members
  • Identify training needs, implements training, and leads individual development plans with consistent follow-ups, in store.
  • Leads recruitment and induction of team and ensures successful coordination with HR department
  • Leads by exemplarity, ensures good team spirit and share Sandqvist’s creativity and positive impact
  • Supervises the flagship environment and teams grooming at any time of the day
  • Syncs with supply and operations department for seasonal returns or to suggest general improvements in operations and processes
  • Ensures implementation of all guidelines related to store, BOH management and sustainability
  • Manages payroll, expenses and stock management

EXPECTED PROFILE

We are looking for someone with similar experience in fashion retail as a Store Manager or strong experience as a Store Manager Assistant of at least 3 years. You have a good understanding of Fashion or luxury retail standards, are organized, team player, strong experience with management and clienteling, and have a good strategic vision of a business day to day operations. You will report to the Head of Retail.

Start Date: 9th June 2025 End date: 20th April 2026
